While she’s a new face at Rebel and to instructing, she’s been cycling both indoors and outdoors for years. Sam’s an avid foodie and loves trying new resturaunt’s and breweries around Detroit. When she’s not cycling or eating, she’s working to fight food insecurity with seniors at a non-profit in the city. Sam is a non-diet dietitian who believes in a health at every size approach to nutrition and fitness and is passionate about rebelling against diet culture.
I fell in love with spin after my first class. I pushed myself and got a workout I didn't think I was possible of doing. That first class 5 years ago inspired me to start instructing so I can motivate others too. I love the energy of class when the music pumping and everyone is vibing. During the day, I'm a software developer playing with data and solving puzzles. Fitness gives my life a good balance and an outlet to let out some energy. Some random things about me - I speak Spanish, my travel goal is to see mountains, and love making my own cold brew.
Karin is relatively new to indoor cycling, but it has rapidly turned into one of her favorite things, in large part due to the warm and encouraging environment at Rebel Cycle Studio. She is passionate about a health-at-every-size culture in all aspects of life, but especially in the fitness industry. Joyful movement is for every body.
In her day job, she works in health care, where she's passionate about radical inclusion and advocating for patients, while meeting them where they are.

Reason for Rebelling // Because spin class isn't just for young, thin, normative-looking bodies. I want to break down the barriers to indoor cycling and show people how powerful they can feel on and off the bike.
